  THE ASSEMBLY.
 The Welsh assembly constitutes of 60 members with its creation by the Welsh government through an enactment in 1998. Its led by the first leader of the Welsh government who is appointed by the Queen after a nomination by Assembly Members. 
He carries several duties in which consists of Appointment of ministers, Chairing the Cabinet meeting Leading policy development and delivery, Managing foreign relationships, Represent the Welsh people and staffing. In Ty Hywel and the Senedd in Cardiff is were his offices are based. [www.wales.gov.uk
The main role of the Welsh assembly is majorly based on areas of strategy formulation for  Wales, A direct police to its functions that it implements, Acts as a decider  in agreements, supervising the functions of other departments like Environment Agency and Countryside council for Wales and the situation of the goverment to promote and brace the Welsh Language in Wales.
