The current coalition government was formed as a result from the hung parliament which was preceded following a Conservative party win from the election with the most parliamentary seats. In first time history the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives merged for a government, (www.parliament.uk) .
The government is headed by the Prime Minister David Cameron. He supervises the working of the Civil service. The prime Minister stated that on 20 May 2010 with Deputy Prime minister Nick Clegg set out the coalition’s programme that was to be implemented through out the five year term in office. To “rebuild the economy, unlock social mobility, mend the political system and give people the power to call the shots over the decisions that affect their lives”, as per article published on www.cabinetoffice.gov.uk. The signing of the agreement also stated that the united agenda shared the same vision. David Cameron quoted, “This is programme for fundamental and comprehensive reform that will transform in our country.......” But to many British David Cameron and his goverment has failed to deliver what he promised before the elections. The BBC reported that a poll reported that a majority of the U.K citizens they expected more of him.
